Running Mentor Coaching

Running is an incredible experience, whether you’re starting for the first time, getting back into it, or are looking to step up your distance to a half marathon, marathon or beyond. At the same time, setting SMART (Smart, Measurable, Achievable, Realistic and Timely) running goals is hard. It is all too easy to download a generic plan from the internet that is too stretching, and you end up disappointed, or worse still, injured.

I would like to share what I learned on my marathon adventures to mentor you on your running journey, whether it be your first 5k, 10k, half marathon, marathon or ultramarathon. I have teamed up with my sponsor, Gu Energy UK, to provide a selection of mentoring coaching packages to ensure you meet your individual goals.

In addition to wealth of personal running experience, I am both a Level 3 Personal Trainer, and a Level 1 UKSCA (UK Strength and Conditioning) Coach. Recent research shows the great benefits of strength and power training in long distance running, such as improved running economy and increased speed. Advice on strength and conditioning can also be offered to compliment your running performance.


Gold Running Mentor Coaching

  • Bespoke training plan; simple to understand, tailored to your current fitness level, goals and lifestyle.
  • Weekly feedback via email
  • Up to 15 minutes conversation (Phone or Skype) every 2 weeks
  • Regression or progression of personal training plan according to individual feedback.
  • Provision of discount on Gu Energy Products
  • Only available for a minimum of 12 weeks bespoke training

Silver Running Mentor Coaching

  • Bespoke training plan; simple to understand, tailored to your current fitness level, goals and lifestyle.
  • Weekly feedback via email
  • Up to 15 minutes conversation (Phone or Skype) every 4 weeks
  • Provision of discount on Gu Energy Products
  • Only available for a minimum of 12 weeks bespoke training

Bronze Running Mentor Coaching

  • Bespoke training plan; simple to understand, tailored to your current fitness level, goals and lifestyle.
  • Fortnightly feedback via email
  • Only available for a minimum of 8 weeks bespoke training
